The Story of Heidi's
Lil Haven Resort
Heidi's Lil Haven Resort is located in the small town of Curtis Michigan on South Manistique Lake. Our clean, updated one and two bedroom cottages are located within steps of the lake which offers ideal swimming, fishing, boating, and relaxation. Curtis is a quaint upper peninsula town with 2 bar/restaurants, gift shops, general stores, bait shop, boat rentals/repair and an old fashioned Ice cream parlor all within walking distance. There is a public boat launch down the road to launch your boat. Dock space and kayaks are free to use to explore our beautiful 4,000 acre lake. The South Manistique Lake has a lot to offer fishermen with walleye, croppies, perch, bluegill, bass, bull head, cat fish, pike and musky, along with some suckers in the spring. The average depth is 15' to 18' with a total range from 4' to 18'. Fishermen like this lake because it is small enough to feel confident to catch some great fish.
